Dr. Andrea Vidali

Has anyone used him? He specializes in my type of endo and hoping to schedule a surgery with him.

Does he only operate out of Jersey??? Omg I would have to rent a hotel room for post op!
How was your experience? Did you have to do two separate because of endo or something more?
Hope all is well by the way! So happy to see your screen name Chat Icon Chat Icon

I live in western Suffolk and had surgery with him. I did not need a hotel room and would do it again in a minute! He helped with my ovarian health, endo and also did a D&C for me. The man will not rush you to surgery unless you need it. Also the hospital he uses was great.

Wanted to say that he gives you his personal number to text. I also used Hackensack and Hoboken. I think he only works out of one now.

I need bowel surgery so I will def be a hot mess. I was okay with my last surgery but the surgeon wouldn’t touch the endo further towards my colon so I’m hoping he is more confident! Thanks, I’m going to schedule with him. Does he accept Ins? I’m GHI city of NY.

Yes, he only does surgery in Jersey. For a consult with him, you would go to the Braverman office in Manhattan at 78th and Park Ave.

He is a very confident surgeon and I trust him. My first lap there was no endo but he did ovarian drilling to help me make quality eggs. My 2nd lap he found endo and if I remember correctly it was on my bowels too.

The reason I was sent for the 2nd one was because my cytokines were through the roof. I was honestly surprised there was so much endo in there that had to have grown in the last year and a half.

I also did not need a hotel room. Both times I just had a family member (first one mom, second one hubby) drive me home. I felt fine. The only part that sucked was both surgeries were badly delayed. The first one was like 3 hrs delayed. This last one was over 5 hours delayed! and I had to be there 2 hrs before my scheduled time so I went crazy sitting there for 7 hrs in pre-op.

ETA: they do accept insurance. I have Cigna which is the only one they are in network with, but you should be sorta ok with the OON benefits with GHI.
