Dr. appointment yesterday
I am pleased to report that all went well! Little Sola's heartbeat is nice and strong. I marvel each time I get to hear his/her heart beating.
I also got the results of my ultrascreen. Everything looked great! I have greater than one in 10,000 chances of Trisomy 13, Trisomy 18 and Downs. DH and I were so thrilled to hear this. He was really very worried and as some of you remember, didn't want me to have the test done.
I will have my AFP bloodwork done this week. Level 2 is scheduled for 6/12 in the evening! I can't believe I have progressed this far- it's like a dream.
Now for the big question- do I find out or will I be surprised.

That's what my family says. I hate being torn.
I also gained a pound! I didn't think I would be so happy to hear this but I want to look pregnant.

YAY! So glad the appointment went well. As for finding out, tough call. I had to know. But then again, I HATE surprises.

Sounds like a great appt all around, due date twin! I'm doing my AFP bloodwork on Monday and haven't scheduled my Level II yet. Did you have your Ultrascreen done at Madonna's office? I go to their Babylon location. I am with you on it all feeling like a dream. I still cannot believe that I am pregnant!

I had my ultrascreen done at the doctor's office. They have technicians there a few days a week, which makes it really convenient. I'll also have my Level II there as well.

So glad to hear this Hollie!!!!!!!!!!!!! Def find out. After all... the real suprise will be the look on your DH's & the baby's face when you hold him/her for the first time!
