Dr. Braverman - How long do you usually wait for him to see you?

Last week was my first time. I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room, then another 25 in the room with no pants on , and then another 20 waiting for them to take blood.

Today, I waited 1:15 hours in the waiting room and then another 20 in the exam room.

Is this the norm? I'm going to have to start taking half days off from work if this continues.

i usually never have to wait that long. i go around 4ish to my appts. i wait for 15 min in the waiting room the most.

only one time i was waiting in the exam room for like 45 min that was the only real long wait

Oh no, don't tell me that.

I have to go tomorrow morning and need to be out quick!!

I've gone at 5 twice and was in and out in 30 minutes.

ETA: but, please leave the 5 for me. It's the only time I can go without getting into a problem at work

That's good to hear. Maybe I just had bad luck. My first appt was at 11am and the second was at 9:45am so I was really surprised that I still had to wait that long. Thanks!

yea, i hope you have better luck next time.. i always hear mixed reactions to the wait time.. some don't and some do.. i think its just his scheduling.

the reason why i dont let it get to me is because alot of his appts are ones that get booked last minute , like CD3, or follie checks.. thats something you never know ahead of time. .. so some days are busier than others!
he is worth the wait too!

On an exam day, I've never really waited more than 15 minutes. For my initial consult I waited about 30 minutes.

I usually went in the morning and I only waited about 15 min.

pretty much every time I've gone I've had to wait. One time I waited almost 2 hours to see him

I've learned that when I have an apt with Dr. B that I'll be gone for about 3 hours. Now I always bring my nintendo DS with me to keep myself busy.

I've had mixed experience. I've waited for less than 10 minutes a few times. One time it was well over an hour. He likes to chat. One time we were wrapping up a discussion in his office and I asked one last question...he talked it up for another 15 minutes.

We had to wait a bit for our consult, but I know it's because he's actually spending time with his patients. It's hard for me because I'm such a stickler for time, but after being at a clinic where I was moved in-and-out quickly, I'll take a late appointment where the dr actually knows who I am!
