Dr. Brown's Natural Flow® Deluxe Gift Set

I'm starting to put things on my registry and I'm clueless when it comes to bottles and nipples. I keep hearing how good Dr. Brown is. What do you think of this gift set? Would you recommend anything else?

Product Description:

Created by a physician, Dr. Brown's Natural Flow baby bottles feature a patented internal vent system that helps reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas. The positive pressure design allows babies to feed comfortably, because the vent system eliminates the air bubbles and vacuum. All parts are dishwaher safe. Deluxe Gift Set includes 6-8oz bottles; 4-4oz bottles; 2-2oz bottles; 12-Level 1 nipples; 4-Level 2 nipples; 4-Level 3 nipples; 4-Y cut nipples; 6 Storage Caps; 6 Cleaning Brushes; a $81.91 Value

Cost $49.99 @ BRU

I'm not sure why I would need the 2 oz bottles I keep hearing get a few 4oz and the rest larger oz sizes.

I went with the Newborn Gift Set - I didn't think that I needed the 2oz bottles - and you know what - I didn't. They would have been a waste.

Re: Dr. Brown's Natural Flow® Deluxe Gift Set

I started using DR Brown when DS was up to 5 oz bottles, so I never used the small ones..

I am very happy with Dr Brown and should have used them from the beginning (instead of Advent)

We just got the newborn set too and bought extra 4 oz bottles. DD supplements so she usually uses the 4oz bottles.

I don't have a dishwasher Chat Icon . Is the cleaning that bad?

I wont mind it of course if these are the best bottles around.

I will admit it is a pain in the butt - but they are the best bottles around.

I didn't find the cleaning too bad. I just washed everything and made sure I rinsed all the parts really well. Then I would boil the bottles. Nothing ever got stuck in the nooks and crannies....and I never had to use the little scrub brush that came with them. If you don't mind boiling bottles, you'll have no problem.
