dr cleared me for sex 2 weeks PP anyone else?
Went to the dr yesterday, its 2 weeks since I had DS. My dr is on maternity leave so I saw someone different.
I had a c section and he said I'm healing beautifully. He told me I have no restrictions at this point as long as I listen to my body and don't over do it. He gave me a prescription for BC pill I can take while nursing and said sex was ok.
I always thought it was 6 weeks. Anyone else get cleared early?

My dr told me 6 weeks.
Even if she had cleared me 1 day after giving birth, it wasn't going to happen for months!

I wasnt but I also delivered vaginally. Not sure if that makes a difference or not......didnt matter though because I didnt have any desire till about 8 weeks pp.

I had a C Section and was cleared at around 2 maybe 3 weeks. As long as there is no pressure on the scar (missionary position) the doc OK'd it

I would imagine that with a C they can clear you earlier because there is no healing that has to go on in the va jay jay area!

Oh good to know. We tried yesterday and everything seemed ok but I'll be aware of pressure on the scar

Even if I had been cleared, there was NO way it was happening at that point...
I was cleared at 5.5 weeks and had a C. If you labored at all on your own, there IS healing that has to happen.
