Dr is worried about baby girl's weight....

I have a week to go before the C-section and at the growth sono today baby boy weighed in at 6.8 and baby girl weighed in at only 5.2. They have never been this far off in weight!

The dr. did a doppler on the umbilical cord and said that everything was okay. Now I am worried that something is wrong. They want me to come back Monday and Wednesday for a NST and a Biophysical sonogram.

Why is her weight slowing down so much?

Please try not to worry. This happened with me at the end and they decided to take the boys two weeks early. In the end they probably didn't need to so early, but everything turned out fine.

I was scheduled for a c at 38 weeks but at my 35 week appointment (NST and doppler) the doctors noticed that Baby A was measuiring at 4lbs 11ozs and Baby B was 6 lbs. And i think that Baby B had gained a lot from the last appointment then A. To make sure this was not TTTS they let me go one more week and took them. Well believe it or not Baby A came out at 5lbs 7oz aand Baby B was 6lbs...so they were pretty off with Baby A.

Your babies weights still seem to be okay and trust me if they think it warrents it they will take them early. My boys did not need any NICU time.
