Dr Lippman pediatrician recommendations? Or others?
My DH and I met with Dr Lippman in Baldwin the other day after we received recommendations and we really liked him. I was wondering - does anyone else on here have any positive or negative recommendation about him? Does anyone have experience with Dr Lippman being flexible or not to what vaccines you may have wanted or the timing of them? Or do you have other recommendations in the Baldwin/RVC/Oceanside area?

My ob recommended Dr. Lippman. He's not that close to me, so I didn't check him out yet, but one of my friends uses him and loves him.

I use him and several friends do too. He is flexible with the vaccines. I gave the mmr way after 2 yrs old and he never pressured me.

I LOVE Dr. Lippman. He is great, the staff is great, and you can always get in for a sick visit that day. They have sat and sun hours. I cannot speak highly enough about him and his associate, Dr. Rosenbloom. Yes- they are flexible with vaccines. They are respectful of others beliefs and do not push vaccines if they know you don't want them. They will probably have you just sign a form that you have chosen to decline/ alter the vaccine schedule and are aware of risks, etc. HTH!

The children I use to sit for went to him, I loved him he was on my list however he is not associated with the hospital I delivered at so I went with someone else.

Love dr Lippmann.
Very easy going when it, comes to your wishes.
We pushed off a lot of vaccines bc DS had a very bad winter of colds after colds and we didnt want to give him vaccines when he wasn't well. DS is 22 months and will get mmr at 2 yr visit at this point. Dr Lippmann says it's. O biggie, well catch up.
I love how at each checkup,he goes through what you will see your child doing or should be doing etc.
He's very friendly and will talk about his son and how his son isn't potty trained at 3, so you feel comfy that even his kids aren't perfect.
The office staff is wonderful and the wait is never long at all.

LOVE Dr. Lippman.
I live out of state so don't use him myself but my 4 nephews go to him and I deliver at Winthrop so he is my dr. there when baby is born. He's the best! I was on LI visiting when my DD was days shy of 8 weeks and she was running a high fever - I got right in to see him and he took such good care of her. Did blood work and took urine sample right there to save me a trip to the ER. Called me at 10pm that night with results and he saw us again the next day to follow up.
I highly recommend him and know my sister and her kids all love him!
Only thing is my friend uses him and has had terrible waits lately. She has a 2 yr old and a 2 mo old so she's going for a lot of newborn checkups. Last time she was there she had to wait over an hour in waiting room - then 45 mins in exam room with a newborn...they never even apologized or mentioned anything about running late.
That would drive me insane!!!

that's me 
I do love him! I like him because i'm pretty laid back and easy going and he was too - i know that's not for everyone, but for me he's the perfect dr.
BTW, when DS was born, he came to the hospital at 1:30 in the morning to see him! (i was still up at that point since i gave birth that night). He is super super nice, and the staff at the office are great. I love that they have weekend hours and will fit you in anytime you call with a concern.
I didn't deviate from the vaccination schedule so can't help with that question though..
