10, and i still go for seconds (or thirds!)
but i really feel that it doesn't matter the size of your plate..but what is on it.
you can have a 14" plate of steamed broccoli or a 4" plate of mac n cheese.....and you'd still benefit from the broccoli, KWIM?

Dr. OZ needs to either be a celeb or a doctor.
Pick one!

Re: Dr. OZ says.... Eat on a 9" Dinner Plate or less
Honestly, I would eat more with a 9" plate, and I think many people would. A 9" "serving" isn't a "full" serving, so I would get 2nds.... meaning 18" of plate. However, an 11" plate is plenty for me, so I usually stop at just one plateful.

Re: Dr. OZ says.... Eat on a 9" Dinner Plate or less
I read about this man who bought an old house and he was getting upset that none of his dinnerware would fit into his cabinet, so he started to do some research and he found that the size of a dinner plate grew astronomically over the years, hence the reason why he couldn't fit his. I think he wrote a book about it. I remember reading about it in The Times.
