Dr. said Ethan's not sick, it's all teething..can that be right??

The poor baby is miserable. Runny/stuffy nose, cough and a slight fever (99.4).

We took him to the Dr. today, and she said his lungs are clear, and its all teething related. All his 1 year molars are coming out at once, and its putting pressure on his glands, creating mucus, making his nose run. And some of the mucus is dripping down his throat, resting on his vocal cords, irritating him, and making him cough.

While that sounds very medical , I wonder if it's really just teething?? My mom is sick, so we thought she gave him her cold. Unless maybe it's a mix of teething and a cold. I don't know..all I know is he's miserable, and he's not eating solids & barely taking any BM.

Has anyone had their DC get this "sick" from teething?? TIA

yes, Liam gets very congested and gets a runny nose from teething.

Both my DC have had these symptoms on and off for a couple of weeks now. Originally i thought maybe it was teething, but then I got them too, and I know I am not teething

yes, runny nose, cough and fever under 100 teething....

when kyle gets a "cold" the congestion seems worse, the fever goes higher, and his cough is more of coughing fits.

maybe it is a mix of a cold if he's eating less...

sounds just like ds who is also screaming as he grabs his mouth.. he just cut one tooth but it is evident that there is alot more to come trhough

Sounds like maybe a little combo of teething and a little cold, perhaps?
