Re: Dr. Saketos @ Rs of NY
Dr.Saketos did my first IVF ( chemical due to pretty poor quality ebryo's, no fault of the Dr. )
She was very nice and comforting to me when I found out the quality of my embies...
As I replied on the post about Dr.Sung- I am a long time repeat patient of RSOFNY in Stony Brook and was blessed with both my DS and DD from them ( and am currently iunder their care again)
As for your 1st appointement, I always bring a memo pad and jot down notes..I would also bring a calendar of your AF's ...They may do some bloodwork, give a script for an HSG to check your tubes and have your DH come in at a later date for a SA ( semen analysis)...a lot of things start on day 3 of AF...
Good Luck

Re: Dr. Saketos @ Rs of NY
Dr. Saketos is my RE and I absolutely LOVE her!! You are in good hands.
The staff at RSofNY are so sweet and professional. You will spend a lot of time there and really get to know the nurses. They are all great!
At your first appointment, expect an internal sono, bloodwork and about 30 minutes talking about yours and your DH's medical histories. I would definitely recommend that your DH goes with you.
Feel free to FM with any other questions that you have.
Good Luck!!!
ETA: I went through 3 cycles with RSofNY and got my BFP on the 3rd medicated cycle, 1st IUI. They really, really care about their patients and will do what it takes to make this happen for you.
