Dr. Steve Cohen girls.........
What's the wait like usually?
I scheduled in his NHP office for a morning appt.
Initially, his receptionist was going to give me an appt with his associate or NP. I thought he was the only Dr there? Did he expand once he went to the new office?

I believe dr Shapiro is his associate bc I have seen him when dr Cohen is on vaca. Wendy the np is awesome too.
Not sure about mornings bc I go evenings in Woodbury. But I'm usually there for about an hour, hour and a half.

Yes, it was Shapiro and Wendy. Okay, glad you like them! They said evenings are their busiest times and I am opting for mornings and days so she said I should be okay. I'm hoping!

I would def think mornings are less busy.
I saw dr Shapiro when I got my bfp and he was very thorough. I have seen Wendy a bunch also and she is really cool.

I went to Dr. Cohen's Little Neck Office for DD1 and had crazy long waits. I used to call before my appointment and they would call me back when it was time to come, usually an hour or two after my appointment time - some times I would go after 9:00 pm. I personally was not happy with Dr. Cohen for delivery - he has an arrangement with other doctors where you have whatever Dr is on call deliver you. He sent me to be induced, which took 48 hours, and I never heard from him the whole time. I stayed 2 nights after delivery and also never heard from him then. I called his office after I got home to ask a question and got a call back from another random dr. I was not happy with any dr that I saw during my 4 days in the hospital. I switched doctors for DD2 and had a much, much better experience.

Wow! I can't believe u had that experience. I know they cross cover but I was induced too and was there for 48 hours and he came often. I never had a problem reaching him either.

Wow. I was just there today (Woodbury) I was out of the office within 40 minutes, and I spoke to him. Had a sono too. I never have trouble reaching him, and since my c section is scheduled he assured me he would be at delivery.
