Dreading Long Car ride to SC & NC
I'm sooooo excited to see my family for the Holidays but I am beyond dreading the car ride!! By the end of the day my back is killing me and just driving a 1/2 hour today had me in pain! This is going to feel like the longest car ride ever!!
My mother offered to fly us down but its such a pain with the dog, plus we wanna stop at our storage unit in NC and bring some stuff back (Long story but most everything we own is in NC since we were supposed to be living there already, but with baby on the way we pushed everything back a year).
So we'll be leaving either tomorrow night or Tuesday night, depending on DH's work! First stop to my brothers in Charleston, SC for X-Mas and then Wilmington, NC It's going to be 77 on X-Mas

I know how you feel. I was in traffic yesterday and thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown!!! Maybe if you leave at night you can sleep so you won't have to think about it. I'm jealous you will be in warm weather!!!

We're def leaving at night (wanna avoid traffic) but I doubt i'll sleep- I can't even sleep in my comfy bed lately with out tossing and turning all night long, with long stretches of channel flipping in between!!

don't worry you can do it! when i drove here to illinois, my obgyn told me to make sure we stop every 2 hrs to walk around...DH was so good about stopping too, it really helps! just get out, walk, even if you're not tired. you need the circulation to keep goiing...good luck and soo jealous of 77 on xmas!!!

do you have a snoogle!? for some reason that helped me sleep sooo comfortably in the car! it felt like it would just bug me cause it's so bulky, but even DH caught quite a few zzz's with it! if you have it, take it!
