Dreams.........

I am guessing a lot of us have dreams about our deceased parent (s).

My mom has been gone since the beginning of 99' and I am still haunted.
In a frequent recurring dream, I will see her, it is present day, but she is very chronically ill. I try to tell people that she is really gone but nobody believes me. It is almost as if she is "here but not here" as she was the last few months leading to her death.
I am always haunted by "was there something more I could have done". Could I have prayed a little more?

On another note, I am constantly dreaming about the house we rented for a few summer's on the south shore. I was very young but this town meant the world to my mom. I was a city kid, and I loved being by the beach in a town my mom practically grew up in. I wish I could afford a house there now. In happy news, I pulled a few strings and was married in the same town, in the same church my parents were. It meant that much to me.

My dad is gone 20 plus years now...but for years I had these dreams that felt so real and the dream was always that he was alive and really did not die...i remember being very disappointed when I awoke...but i would tell my Mom and she would tell me he comes to me in the dreams to let me know he is always with me and to validate that he is at peace...I truly believe this to be the case, and it comforts me...I think of him every day still, and I cherish the memories and that helps..but I havent had a dream like that in years.... to you all...

I have dreams sometimes where my mom is alive. I wake up and for a split second, I think all of this stuff about her death is the bad dream and she's still here. Then I realize that having her here was the dream.
