Dress from Ebay - What would you do?
I bought a dress for DD for her 1st birthday on Ebay. It is a custom dress. I paid $50 for it.
When I put it on DD, it was too short. When DD bent over, you could see her whole butt. I ordered the correct size.
I was disappointed because the first time I saw the dress was right before DD's party. I didn't have leggings with me, just tights, so the whole party I kept pulling her dress down to cover her butt.
So, it seems to me that it's not really a dress, but more of a tunic. The baby in the picture description has a much longer dress on.
Would you complain to the seller?
If you were the seller and got a complaint from me, what would you do about it?

If I were the seller, I would say you should have asked for length, sizing, etc. Was this seller the maker of the dress or was it a dress from their child that they were just selling?

Re: Dress from Ebay - What would you do?
It's advertised as a dress. She didn't have lengths posted and I did not ask. I said that I want the 12-18 month size and this dress is at least 3" shorter than all of DD's 12-18 month dresses. She sells pantaloons for an additional cost but I figured I wouldn't need them given it is a dress and you wouldn't see them anyway. Plus, I don't like the look of pantaloons anyway.

I guess you could have asked for length but it was a bit misleading if a pic of a child with the dress on was posted and it looked longer.
I would mention it to the seller. Especially if it was custom made.

The seller probably wouldn't do anything for you, but you should tell them that it was misleading. That the dress really wasn't a dress. If she wants more business she would fix her posts.

To compare one dress to another in the same size can have drastic differences. I don't think Emma has a single dress in the same size that is the same length. I would email the seller about it, but honestly I wouldn't expect much.
