dress me for an Atlantic City weekend night getaway with dh
ive never been on a sat night, i wanna dress nice, but not too over the top. any ideas?

Ditto. I find it mostly a dressy place. Lots of sequins.

That's what I'd go for, too. I'd put on heels and maybe a cute dress if it's the summer and we were going out at night.

We just got back. I haven't been in a looong time and couldn't believe how many of the girls were in skirts...SHORT skirts. First of all it was FREEZING out (and inside) and the skirts barely covered their a$$e$. I said the DH thank god we have boys! I had on a cute top, heels and jeans and I was definately in the minority.

agreed. You can get away with a LBD, or nice jeans and heels with a flashy shirt.
For my bachelorette the 1st night I wore skinny jeans, heels, and a tibe top, 2nd night a short dress with sequins
whoops, didnt realize this was old. my bads

Can I just say - for a recent Bach party we all went there and purposely shopped at Joyce Leslie for the most "typical nj" outfits.
We usually dress modestly and preppy. It was fun to be all glitzed out.
I was donning sequins like it was going out of style lol
