Dressy shorts?
Still "in"? I don't want to look ridiculous but I was thinking for like a night out in the summer, nice dressy black shorts with a dressy top and some kind of strappy high heeled sandals.
Pretty much what I'd wear with a skirt, just subbing shorts for the skirt.
Or has that ship sailed?
ETA- kind of like this. Found these at Banana Republic.

I hope not.. Thats my summer staple.
I have black & white sateen shorts that I literally pair with everything in my closet.

I still wear that look for a night out here in FL. That's what pretty much everyone wears, or a cute dress.
