Drinks with Dinner
Ava will be a year old and is happily eating table food with us.. Do I need to give her a drink with dinner. And if yes, what?? She is still on the bottle (no sippy cup yet)..
Sometimes she chokes on my dry chicken.. :((

Re: Drinks with Dinner
I would introduce a sippy cup with milk in it.

Re: Drinks with Dinner
I have tried, but she throws it at me. She has no idea what to do with it. I need to be consistent with it, though..
Those spill proof valves make it VERY hard to get anything out.. I have to get the Nuby I have heard good things about that brand.
Thanks.

Re: Drinks with Dinner
I don't give Melanie drinks during dinner, only because if I did she'd fill herself up on the drink and stop eating.

Re: Drinks with Dinner
Have you tried just letting her try right from a cup while you hold it?

Re: Drinks with Dinner
Maybe try a regular cup and a straw.
