Driving directions to Lynbrook LIRR station
[I have no idea why the subject of my original post disappeared!!  ]
I have to pick up my DH there tonight and I can't find an address to plug into my navigation.
Could someone please give me directions?
I guess from the Southern State? I am coming from the north shore. Thanks so much!!
ETA: I am completely unfamiliar with the area.

from southern state going west:
take exit 19S (peninsula blvd)
go maybe 3-4 miles.
make a left at Ocean Ave (retirement home on right)
cross Merrick and next big intersection is sunrise highway. make a right there.
go another 2 or so miles. you'll be following the train tracks the whole way (on your right)
the main station is at broadway (white castle on right, american vision center on left). turn right at the white castle, make a left just after the tracks (just before a run down old building).
hope that helps--i'm doing it from memory but i'm pretty sure i'm right.

Completely right..
But if you are coming from the North Shore are you taking the Cross Island? BC if yes then you take the SS East bc you will be coming from the opposite direction and you can take to 17 S. OCean Ave Malverne. Take Ocean Ave all the way to sunrise like the previous poster explained.
