Driving from Disney question
It should take about 17 hours. I went to u of Florida and would drive to Gainesville ( 1 1/2 - 2 hours north of Orlando). My dad would also drive down with me and we would drive to sc in one day, spend the night and do the remaining 5 or so hours the next day. Coming back we would drive to va, spend the night and finish up the next day.
If you do it all in one drive though it should be about 17 hours without stopping which obviously you would stop at least for gas and food.

If you leave early Saturday morning (6 am) you should no trouble getting home by Sunday afternoon. You could even drive through the night and get home at like 1 or 2 am on Sunday morning.

Re: Driving from Disney question
18 hours with no stops, no traffic... 20-22 hours with stops... We usually take one over night so I am not too tired driving.... Fayetteville, NC is the halfway point from my house to Disney. It is about 8.5 hours with no stops to that point.. If you hit rush hour anywhere, you are screwed. I just did this trip in November by myself.
