Driving Lessons
I had my 1st driving lesson today...it was so nerve racking...and I definitly got a lot to work on, but generally how long did it take to get the hang of it and pass the road test?
TIA

Re: Driving Lessons
I wish that I could answer your question. DH has been trying to teach me how to drive, but I really need to take lessons to get over my nerves.

Re: Driving Lessons
OMG, I know how you feel! Its really scary learning how to drive! Once you are actually doing it, it won't seem so scary!! It should take like 6 months (I think) to learn how to drive. Once you have your license and you are driving...your life will change!
Good LUck!!!

Don't freak out, I am sure that you will do great, especially since you have been taking lessons.

Thats plenty of time! I went to a driving school also, and after like the 2nd week of lessons (I think I had them 2 times a week witht he instructor) I felt confident.
You will be fine--and if not, not a problem to re-take the test!

Re: Driving Lessons
I just did this not long ago. I did 2 lessons/week for 4 weeks and passed. The more often you practice, the more confident you'll feel. Good luck!

Re: Driving Lessons
Try to drive outside the class as much as possible. You will relax more when you do it more. Good luck!
