Drs appt today
No, not the RE, but its related to my IVF cycles.
I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but after my cycle in December I ended up in the ER during my 2ww, diagnosed with pneumonia.
Well, a week into my 2ww this time, I developed that same dry hacking cough, night sweats, low grade fever, exhaustion, etc. I went to my PCP armed with some info I found on the net, and even though he looked at me like I was nuts, wrote me scripts for antibiotics (even though my chest sounded clear, throat and ears were fine, etc) which I refused to take, he sent me to a pulmonologist.
What I found was a few articles on acute eosinophilic pneumonia associated with intramuscular administration of progesterone as luteal phase support after IVF. Interesting, huh? Apparently there are a few people that can have a reaction to the IM PIO shot, not so much the meds themselves, but what they are suspended in...and of course the symptoms are exactly what I have/had.
The dr totally agreed that this was all related and did a couple of lung function tests, and even though I have been feeling much better, the coughing is much much less, my lung capacity is still a little below normal. SO, I have to go for a bunch of blood tests, and he is contacting my RE to talk about different progesterone supplements for next cycle.
Only me.

OMG, Lisa! I totally remember you feeling like Crap!
It shows that not all doctors know everything and that we have to advocate for ourselves.
I am happy to hear that your doctor agrees that this is all related. Best of luck finding a new supplement!
