Dr.s visit yesterday...is this unusual?

I went because Charlie was on day 4 with a fever and had a rash. They never took his temperature. I gave them the run down of each day, how high and how low it was, but he just took my word for it.

This is a new Dr. for us and I'm not very happy. Also, I've never had a well or sick visit where they didn't weigh him. He never even talked to Charlie. He checked his breathing, ears and mouth and said it was a virus and that was it.

His Dr.'s in Southampton just seemed so much more thorough and I'm homesick Chat Icon

Re: Dr.s visit yesterday...is this unusual?

awwww! I'm in CT I have a great PED who has an office in New Haven and Cheshire, i could give you info if you want it.

None of my sick visits to the doc have my kids been weighed, they just go off what they weigh from last visit unless it was tooo far off.

Seems like they are lacking in bedside manner, i'm so sorryChat Icon Chat Icon
I hope he feels better soonChat Icon

I had to take Michael yesterday to the ped because he too has a virus. His temperature was taken, his oxygen level & heart rate was taken & he was weighed.
