I cannot believe she only gets 12 weekends in jail, this could have been another tragedy

Thats just disgusting. More and more i'm not trusting people. Now we have to worry that if our kids get on a school bus that the driver may be drunk??!!

This is why we will continue to hear stories like this. Its a slap on the wrist. We need tougher laws and we need them now.

That is horrible. I thought NY just passed a law that driving drunk with children in the car was a felony. How could this person get 12 weekends.

There is something seriously wrong with that!
Because the law was passed this fall and the bus incident happened last May.
37 counts of child endangerment was the official charge. Thirty-seven counts and she is on home arrest and weekends in jail????
And her attorney says:
"She's embarrassed" Embarrassed??
Embarrassed is having spinach in your teeth!!!
She should be ASHAMED!!!
He said:
She would never do anything to put her children or these children in harms way.
How is that not in harm's way?????!!!!
Oh, and she would never???

But that's the problem with our society today...

Excellent thinking on the part of those teenage girls.
They were the responsible adults on that bus.
