Dry Cleaning question...

Yes, I know, I'm 27 and have never had a dry clean only wardrobe until now.
Anyway, can you please tell me what you'd estimate the following items to total in a dry cleaning bill? I was shocked to see the bill when I dropped it all off:

4 pairs of work pants
5 button down shirts
2 sweaters.

Re: Dry Cleaning question...

were the shirts laundered or dry cleaned?

I wont get them dry cleaned- I get the laundered- b/c I drop off at least 10 at a time ( jake)

pants - $5-6 each
shirts- laundered- $1.50- DC $3.00
sweaters- $5-6

if you live near merrick I know of a great place that charges $3 for pants and sweaters and does the best job ever! and .89 for shirts- I miss it

STFU!!!!!! $60?!? American?? That's ridiculous. My guy in Manhattan didn't charge anywhere near that (not that I ever paid full price there! Chat Icon)

Re: Dry Cleaning question...

Ok, my dry cleaner is mucho expensive!! Chat Icon Chat Icon I bring in my DH's stuff all the time and here's what we pay.

4 pairs of work pants = $8 each = $32

5 button down shirts = $1.25 each for a man's. $3.75+ for a woman, regardless if they are the same shirt! $5.00

2 sweaters = $4.75 each = $9.50

So close to $50 worth.
