Dry Eye
TY Just for the record it says on this site "Skip the alcohol. Drinking alcohol can leave your mouth parched. It can dry out your eyes, too. If you go out for a social drink, keeping alcohol to a minimum (or choosing a nonalcoholic beverage) is kinder to your eyes, says Dr. Monica. "

My Dad has since his stroke. It affected the entire left side of his body including the tear ducts in his left eye. I order rewetting drops from drugstore.com for him.
Make sure you get rewetting and not the drops for red eye.

Re: Dry Eye
I actually have dry eyes. They said if you cry, it replenishes the tears on your eyes and it helps somewhat the discomfort. But who wants to be crying all the time? I've tried many eye drops and have found that some of them give you like a sting sensation but I am using this one now and love it. I find that I'm not using it as much anymore. I bought the large bottle in Costco. The name is Thera Tears Lubricated Eye Drops. Buy the one that says on the bottle "Becomes Preservative Free on Eye Contact". Hope this is helpful.

Re: Dry Eye
I do, and I am such a crybaby! My doc gave me some eye drops once but I stopped using them when they ran out. Ask your doc - maybe it's even OTC now.

Re: Dry Eye
I tried the re-wetting drops. I also got a plug put into my eye duct. Last but not least, I added a humidifier to my room when I sleep at night. I am just making sure there is nothing more that I could be doing.

I will try that! I don't like the stinging ones either

Re: Dry Eye
Here is a link to their website. I find that if you buy the bigger bottle in Costco is somewhat cheaper. Thera Tears
