Dry hands...

My hands have been super dry lately. I have been getting hangnails, ewwww. Is it because Im not drinking enough water? What causes that?

Re: Dry hands...

It could just be the weather. My skin gets really dry in the winter. I keep a huge bottle of lotion at my desk at all times.

Re: Dry hands...

My hands get like that in the winter too. I use Burts Bee's Almond hand cream and it helps a lot

Re: Dry hands...

Cold weather + dry indoor heat = dry, cracked, itchy hands/skin.

I cannot live without L'Occitane dry skin hand cream...shea butter is the most amazing thing Chat Icon

Re: Dry hands...

try vaseline at night with cloth gloves

put the vaseline all over your hands (kinda gross but you get used to it) and then put cloth gloves over them - you can do it while you watch tv or you can leave them on overnight while you sleep - my mom was able to do that but i could not so i would just leave it on while watching tv for a few hours at night - made a huge difference - your skin is like a BABY after that.

other then that - curel works for me, i just put more on when i need more. staying hydrated will help but sometimes you need even more than that. HTH
