Dry scalp - What to do?
DS has a very dry skin in his forehead.
It's "crusty". I tried aquafore but his skin turns red after a while it has been applied.
Now, it's all over the top of his head too. It's not like spots. It's like the whole skin is dry in the whole layer.
I shampood his hair yesterday and it turns into something like white wet skin cells but it does not shed.
What can I do/use? Should I call the ped?

Re: Dry scalp - What to do?
If it's cradle cap, my DD had that, we rubbed her head with baby oil before her bath. It really helped.

Re: Dry scalp - What to do?
My baby has that in her eyebrow area....I put lotion on it everyday and sometimes baby oil. It's nothing bad - read the link the poster gave above - very helpful!

Re: Dry scalp - What to do?
DD had that, we were using a cradle cap baby shampoo that helped but never really cleared it up completely. The doctor recommended adult Head and Shoulders... after two times using it, it was gone!

Re: Dry scalp - What to do?
We used olive oil & gently combed the flakes out, then bathed her.

I used Burt's Bees apricot baby oil for 5 minutes before his bath.
