Dryer Problem... HELP

We have a dryer that has the lint trap on the top where you pull out a long curved lint catcher on the top of the machine. I was attempting to take out the trap today and the lint fell back into the dryer. How do I get it out?? I tried vacuuming it up (Dyson w/ suction), clothes hanger, nothing works... what do I do? Will it cause a problem?

Re: Dryer Problem... HELP

I would put duct tape on the end of a yard stick. Good luck!

Maybe try running it without any clothes in it?

Re: Dryer Problem... HELP

I bought a trap cleaner in stop and shop. Its like a bristled brush. It picks up the leftover ling in the dryer!

good Luck

My DH uses his shop vac to clean it out. I think in your case, you may need to vacuum suction out the back where the vent duct connects to the dryer. PITA, but it helps clean it out really good.
