the dryer is old, like 6 years old, but it was bought at sears. so you think its ok for me to call them?? are they expensive??

Sears will fix any appliance...even if you didnt buy it from them....they will quote you a service call fee....ask them on the phone when you call AND since you bought it from Sears....you might be surprised what is still covered.
FYI..a 6 year old dryer is not OLD... dryers are made to work for at least 10-15 years!! My moms washing machine is over 15 years old and works GREAT!!

awesome!! i just called, they are coming tomorrow. lets hope it just needs a nip and tuck and the whole thing doesnt need to be junked. thanks so much

i recently called Sears to come for my dryer...it was $60 to come out and look. The total to fix including the $60 was $157.00
They were very good.
