DS fusses and cries when being put down to sleep...

He used to go down without a problem. Just lay him down hold the paci for him and he would suck it until he closed his eyes. But now it's like he sucks and wants to bite the side of it. He'll put his fists in his mouth and will rub his eye. He wants to go to sleep but either he's fighting it or something is preventing him. It's frustrating. Yet if you pick him up and sit him up he's fine but still you know he's tired cuz he keeps rubbing his eyes. I don't know what to do.

He had started cereal and had to take him off of it because he's been gassy and is spitting up. I think he has some form of Acid Reflux but how can you be sure. I've been giving him mylicon drops but it seems as if they are not working. Maybe he's teething. I just don't know. He was in such a nice groove and now something has disrupted and it had to be days before his christening!

The thing is I don't know if it's just that he's fighting me or that something is bothering him.

He doesn't cry in pain when he's awake and generally has his moments of crankiness and happy moods. But when you try to put him to sleep he starts crying. He doesn't want his paci anymore and his fists are in his mouth and is constantly trying to bite them.

Does teething make it hard for babies to go to sleep? When he's awake he's fine...and doesn't appear to be in pain. He sucks the nipple of the bottle, that doesn't bother him. But putting him to sleep has been a horror. He'll take his paci after maybe a half hour of crying his head off.

He wants to go to sleep cuz he's constantly rubbing his eyes as he's crying when trying to go to sleep. If you pick him up he's fine.

He also had gas recently and has been spitting up some milk and burping frequently.
