DS goes for his 12 week shots today
and i won't be there to comfort him.
my sister (our nanny) is taking him. and the worst part is, he is getting 3 shots. he has never had 3 shots at a time. from what the ped said, none of the shots he is getting should cause a reaction but i am still worried.

i'm sure he'll be okay!! it's probably harder on you.
there's no one better than your sister to take him to the doctor. i'll bet she loves him like you do

Awww - I know how hard it is but it's so quick and once it's over he'll be fine.
Did you give her a bottle to take with her -- I always had to give Jack one the second the needle was out bc that was the only thing that would calm him down (Jack is a big baby at the ped though - which is why my ped named him "Cry Baby Centonze" )
As time goes on though, the shots do get easier on us - I promise!!!

yes, she is bringing a bottle with her... i noticed that helped him calm down the last time he got shots. thanks
he got SO hysterical when he had his 8 weeks shots and that was only 2! i can't imagine how bad 3 will be... and i know by the time i see him this afternoon he will probably be fine but wht if he isn't?

He may be a little crankier then usual this afternoon but by the time she walks out of the peds office he will be back to his old self. I find that they do the shots so fast - they don't have a chance to realize if it's one, two, or three! After the first one all hell breaks loose anyway!
