DS has a dermatologist appt for a mole....anyone else go through this?

DS has a dermatologist appt for a mole....anyone else go through this?
I have had countless moles removed because they looked abnormal, biopsied as atypical and to keep a watchful eye on thier return.....I am guessing my son has my skin...
DS has a mole on his foot from birth, which, if it was me, would DEFINITELY have been removed. I am terrified they will have to remove it tomorrow.......
Anyone go through this? I would love to wait till the fall because it has to stay covered for weeks but obviously it may not be wise to wait......

My dd has a big mole on her leg that I am worriied about but my ped keeps blowing it off. How do you know your dc mole is abnormal. Did the ped tell you to go?

I actually have a TON of moles on my back and have to have them checked regularly, so I have had it ingrained in my brain on what to look for...
If the mole changes color to a very dark or black pigmentation
If it has jagged or irregular edges or isn't round
becomes raised
becomes larger than the diameter of a pencil eraser
