DS has just completed his 6 mo. EI evaluations
and he scored average to above average across the board 
He has been so receptive to therapy and has progressed so much it's unbelievable.
They are going to recommend that he continue services and that I apply for services through the school district to continue. It's cant hurt and he is doing so well and progressed so quickly...it will be kind of like "maintenance" for him.
His OT does still want to work with him on some fine motor things (cutting with scissors, pressing harder with a crayon, tracing lines, bilateral hand usage like holding his yogurt with one hand and using the spoon with the other) but otherwise he is doing well. He still occasionally mouths objects but is easily redirected. I was concerned in the beginning of therapy about occasional toe walking than he stopped over the summer and after bringing Derek home I have caught him doing it a couple of times. But it is so rare they are still are not concerned. Some of these sensory things can be his way of showing stress from the change in his environment (like bringing home a new baby).
I am beyond happy and just wanted to share his progress since so many always ask!

Crissy - that is so wonderful. I remember how stressed you were in the beginning of this process, it's so good to hear how great he's doing
