DS made a strange face today - a little concerned...
I was feeding my 10 month old DS lunch today in his high chair, everything was going fine... then his eyes rolled to the top of his head, he stopped and then repeated it. It totally freaked me out. I thought he was going to have a seizure or something. I immediately started rubbing his back thinking maybe he was choking on something when he snappend out of it and started laughing. I don't know if I am being paranoid it just looked sooo strange.
Has this happened to anyone? Do you think he was just making a face?

Ok, even though I'm sure it was nothing...I have to be honest - it would totally freak me out. I would be calling the ped out of paranoia. That being said, I don't want to freak you out even more! I'm sure it was just him being silly or something!

It hasn't happened to me but if it repeats itself call your ped.
My niece was making some strange movements & my sister taped it for the pediatrician.

Was he a preemie? It could be as simple as an immature neurological connection which corrects itself.
He doesn't have a fever, right? thinking febrile seizure...

Re: DS made a strange face today - a little concerned...
Is it possible he was starting to fall asleep ?
My DS freaked me out like that a long time ago( same scenario, sitting in his hi-chair) and it ended up being that he was exhausted ....It scared the heck out of me...
For peace of mind, I would let the ped know

He was born at 36 weeks 2 days. They considered him preterm not premature. No fever.

That's what my husband suggested - maybe that was the case.
I'm going to call in the morning.
He'll be sleeping with me tonight.

I would ask your ped. if your concerned but sounds like he was falling asleep.

I would just call the ped for peace of mind and keep an eye out to see if he repeats this. It does sound though like he may have been falling asleep.
