DS needs his stool checked.....anyone go through this?
Gavin has had very loose bowel movements and the ped wants to have it checked for a cause. She says by now there has to be a culprit. He has lost 3 oz. which to me isn't terrible, but it is a sign of something going on.
DH took DS to the doctor so he didn't get much more info. Anyone go through this? He's in perfect health otherwise, but of course now I'm starting to worry.

Stool checks are more yucky for you than him. You need to gather several samples in little jars that they give you.
Both times we did stool samples(once with each kid), they came back inconclusive and the problem solved itself on its own.
I hope that's the care for you too

I hope so too....he doesn't even show any signs of discomfort besides the occasional rash flare up.....
