DS Used the Toilet this Weekend!
DS has not been into using the potty or toilet lately. He'll go at daycare sometimes, but not regularly. We had not planned to push potty training at all at the moment since he is just starting services and needless to say, has a lot of change at the moment.
But DS keeps saying he wants to not wear pull-ups anymore. He keeps saying he doesn't like being wet. Actually cried a few times lately when he got wet. So we figured maybe we do need to move this along a bit with him.
Two things over the last week seemed to make it more attractive. DH showed him how to go standing up--so cute, I heard him saying "now we shake," with DS. And he likes that, so he wants to go more often.
The other thing now that he goes standing up, cheerios in the toilet. He LOVES trying to hit them. We now have a box on the toilet tank so it's ready whenever he needs to go.
So, we'll see what happens, but he did very well this weekend.

I can't take credit for the cheerios. Someone told me about it a long time ago, and I remember thinking "Ewww, I won't be doing that," but never say never in the parenting world!
Right now for DS, Cheerios are working!!!
