due date changed....again!
How am I supposed to know which one to go by?
due date calculated based on CR length at 6 weeks was 10/4
then at 9 weeks based on CR length it went to 9/27
now at 13 weeks (really 12 if I stuck to the original 10/4 due date) they moved it to 9/22 (which would also be my due date based on my lmp)!!!
I don't know which one to stick to!!!

Re: due date changed....again!
Do you know for sure when you ovulated/conceived? My doctor first thought 9/21 should be my due date based on my lmp. However, I know my cycles are LONG, and told him there was no way. I knew it was between 9/25-9/30. Turns out after sono #1 they gave me 9/29, after this past sono baby was measuring a day ahead so possible 9/28. I just say 9/29.... But I keep seeing 9/21 on my charts at the office! ANNOYING, I know!

Re: due date changed....again!
The drs have always told me to go by the date they give you at the first sono. That is always the most accurate

Re: due date changed....again!
I would go by what the sonogram said.
However, EDDs mean nothing.... when your baby is ready to be born, he/she will come. I like to refer to Estimated due dates as "merely suggestions"
but I know, EVERYONE asks "when are you due???" So for that question alone, go with what the sono says.

Re: due date changed....again!
I think the sono measurements are usually the best bet to go by... We had the same confusion for a while because I didn't know when we conceived.

Re: due date changed....again!
My DD was scheduled from my LMP.
My last 2 sonos show a baby 4 days earlier than DD which according to my conception date and 26 day cycles (not 28 like the dr. did), is actually acurate.

Re: due date changed....again!
This is why they tend to just stick with the LMP date...because more people know that than anything else. And the guidelines for when to induce/c-sections/etc...are based on the wildly inaccurate 28-day cycle [I say inaccurate b/c I know more people with shorter and loooonger cycles than any with perfect 28 day cycles]. Oddly, I know when I conceived this baby, which would make IT measure smaller than my LMP/gestational age...however at the Level II, they said I was dead on for my due date. Just shows that it's ALL an estimating waiting game.
[With my first they told me my baby was about 7 pounds at my 36 or 37 week appt. At 39 weeks, I delivered a 5 pound, 14 oz. baby. They just never know with total certainty!]
