For real? The best thing they can do now is lay low. There is no way to sugar coat your son molesting your young daughters and another child. There is also no way that they as his parents can come out smelling like roses with the way they handled things. If this interview happens, I really can't stand this hateful (towards the LGBT Community),hypocritical family just a little more.

I'm curious to know if they knew about it ongoing (meaning didn't do anything), or if they did something the moment they found out.
But I still have a hard time holding a 27 year old man accountable for things he did as a child. I'm not saying its ok. I just know there are reasons CHILDRENS records are sealed. That kids who murder (pick a crime) are charged as children. Its so they have a chance to change their lives before becoming an adult.
Just want to ETA: I stand behind my opinion even if it is not popular.
People make mistakes. People make TERRIBLE mistakes.
Now. I want to be CLEAR I am not defending him. What he did was wrong. Period.
What I question is that something he did when he was a child, a minor, should haunt him for the rest of his life. There is a reason juvenile records are sealed and cant be released even when the children become adults.
So I don't agree with what he did, nor his parents. But I stand behind my opinion that a 27 year old man should not be held responsable by what his stupid 15 year old, child, minor self did.

Not true. He was 15 and in most states, if not all, he could be tried as an adult, depending on the crime. A 15 year old who commits murder would most likely, I believe, be tried as an adult.

Really, I completely 100% disagree with you. If he was 5 and the child he inappropriately touched was 4, I would agree with you.
However, I think any cognitively normal 15 year old is entirely capable of understanding that touching his 4 year old sister's genitals is inappropriate. I think it speaks to a larger character, personality and/or behavioral defect.
Maybe it's because I too unfortunately have some experience with this, that I have ZERO sympathy for Josh Duggar. It's only too bad that the statute of limitations has run out and criminal charges can not be filed. But I hold those stupid parents responsible for that.

They knew and never reported it to the authorities for years (you can read all the articles out about this).
He was NOT a "child", he was a teenage. Teenagers are well aware that molesting a 4 yr. old is not right.
He got NO real counseling so I can NOT believe that only god can help you. Sorry and this comes from someone who believes in god and praying and faith and have common sense to know that you need professional help for this.

He wasn't a "child". A child doesn't understand, doesn't know better. A 15 yr normal functioning boy KNOWS FULL WELL you don't inappropriately touch a young child, related or otherwise. Like I said on the other thread, at that age the only "sex" you're interested in that age is with girls/boys your own age, if you're looking younger............you have some SERIOUS issues. I don't feel bad for him AT ALL. It's disgusting that he did what he did and basically gets to just go on with his life with NO consequences while his victims have to suffer with the knowledge of what was done to them.
As an aside, how stupid and ignorant is his wife that she not only stays with this pig but actually believes there is no chance he will do this to his own children???!! She's an idiot.
