Dumb Q : How do you count how many "weeks" DC is??
How do you figure out how old DC is? Obviously they turn a year old on their birthday. Since that's the case, do you go based on the date of birth to figure out how many weeks they are? For example - Athan was born March 10. Today is July 10. Is he 16 weeks today?
Or do you count based on the DAY he was born? March 10 was a Monday. That would make him 17 weeks and 3 days. 
I am sure this is a DUH question... but I am really kind of confused.

March 10 was a Monday. That would make him 17 weeks and 3 days.

I go by calandar weeks. That is the most accurate age.

Honestly I only did weeks until they were about 3 months old or 12 weeks..after that I did months...
Then usually I do months until about 18 months then I usually will say "he'll/she'll be 2 in August" etc...

Ryan's birthday is March 20 - I say he is 16wks today (but pretty much at this point say "almost 4 months or 3 1/2 months")

BTW this post is TOTALLY your fault!!!  You threw me off when you said Ryan is 16 weeks today since I thought Athan was 16 weeks today and he was born 10 days earlier than Ryan. Maybe no one will ask me how old Athan is till he turns ONE!!

I would be totally thrown off if you referred to Athan as 16wks today - your kid is older

SEE WHAT I MEAN???? YET IT'S JULY 10 TODAY!!!!! HE WAS BORN MARCH 10!!! Whatever. He is "around 4-4.5 months old." That's my answer and I am sticking to it!

I do both. DD was born December 4, soooo last Friday (July 4) she was 7 months. December 4 was a Tuesday, so this past Tuesday she was 31 weeks.
