Dumb question...Do you dust or vacumm first?
I usually dust first and then vacuum. Not sure if that is the right way though.

DH will dust the tables and cabinets first and then vacuum, so he collects anything that falls to the ground with the vacuum.

I dust first then vacuum...because any dust that falls on the floor I can pick up when I vacuum.
I don't know if that's correct but that's what I do!!

Same here. My mom always taught me to work top to bottom in a room when cleaning. So I start high (ceiling fans, kitchen cabinets, high shelves) and finish with vacuuming.

I dust first them vacuum. I find that the dust does't always stay on the dust rag so I'll vacuum whatever I don't get.
