Guess I should have added side as an option
I always thought them to go on top and we just bought a really big wreath to hang on my window...My DH hung it while I wasnt home and he put the bow on the bottom....He had to get up on the ladder to get it up there and I wasn't sure if I wanted to make him drag the ladder back out or not
Guess theres no rules to wreaths !

depends...too many variables: size of the wreath, size/type of bow, where the wreath is going, etc..

I prefer the bottom usually, but this year i went all crazy and put it on the side.
DH said, why's the bow on the side of the wreath and i replied 'because i want it there'

We have two wreaths, one on the front door, one on the SUV's grille.
Both ribbons are on top.
