Dumb question...I mean really dumb question
So it's DD's first birhtday today!!!! We had to postpone her party today bc of the snow..but wanted to take her out to play in the snow, she's not yet walking yet so how does she play..do I sit her in the snow, we dont' have a sled or anything like that...any recommendations... told you it was a really stupid question...

thx...I'm going to bundle her up after her nap and see how she likes it...she experienced sand and snow for the first time in the same week (we just got back from vaca) she's totally going to get ultra confused...LOL

Oh Jen, so sorry you had to cancel the party!!
Have fun playing today! I would just bundle her up, maybe bring some light cups and bowls outside and let her explore, fill up the cups, etc.

thx honestly now waking up I wouldn't have, but we thought we were going to wake up to a blizzard, and we had to make a decision bc of the food,entertainment etc to give them notice to cancel...oh well..next weekend hopefully will be better!

Not a stupid question. I was wondering the same thing. DS is not walking yet but I'd like to take him outside. I think we are gonna sit him on the garbage can lid and pull him around. There is A LOT of snow, so I don't know how long we will last outside.

well I just took her out, bundled up in her snow suit and she could barely move I sat her down in the snow she toppled over from not being able to move in her snow suit and fell face first in the snow....It's safe to say she liked the sand better than the snow, and I don't blame her

I ran out on Friday and bought Abby a cheap snow suit at Sears because we are not snow people, but me like an azz forgot boots. I may have to do what my Mom did and wrap her feet in plastic bags with rubber bands like friggin MacGyver! I'll take pics so everyone can laugh at her "BOOTLEG BOOTS!!!"

OMG my mom did that too me, but she did it around my boots, can you tell my mother was a bit much

my mom used to put plastic bread bags over our feet so we could get our feet OUT of our boots when we got to school! I think the nuns appreciated this, one less kid they had to sit on the floor with to wrestle boots off of
