I know how you feel. The same thing happened to me. I felt like a chicken. i dont think there is anything athat would make you feel more comfy. I felt that way too, it is just all the eggs. That is good that you are producing so many. When is your estimated retrievel?? Lots of luck

Re: during IVF process...
thanks - when i went yesterday they told me they can not imagine me going more than 4 more days -- so around Tuesday I am guessing. I am just so uncomfortable... I cant imagine how I am going to go to work on Monday and stand on my feet all day.

Re: during IVF process...
Wow!! Twenty four follicles?! That is ALOT!!!!
Pauline, you just feel sore and bloated towards the end. I think 24 follicles is not the norm.

Re: during IVF process...
is 24 not normal??? I know the nurse said it was a lot? But I just thought it was a little bit more than average?
Edited to say: I am sorry I didnt mean to scare anyone - I am just so nervous myself.

No, don't worry! I didn't mean it like that!!! I mean most people don't get that many eggs!!! You are a very good responder! I'm lucky if I get 10!!!!

Diane, that's excellent that you had so many retreived! How many were you able to freeze?
butterfly23- hang in there and i hope you can somehow make yourself more comfy these last few days. when did you start to stim and what meds are you using? I will be starting to stim on 11/23 and am just a little curious.
best of luck:)

Hi all- I am feeling a little bit better today... I think that is because they decreased my medication by a little bit last night. We have been on Lupron for over 2 weeks, and last Saturday we started stimulation. We are using a combination of Repronex and Bravelle and the Dexamethosone (sp?). Honestly, I was feeling ok until Wednesday...thats when I started feeling so big and pained-- but it will so be worth a month from now if it takes. Tomorrow morning I have BW and US - I am hoping that they will tell me then when my retrieval will be
