Re: DUSTING-what do you use if you DON"T swiffer?

I use the swiffer only for quick dustings. When I am doing a full clean & polishing, I use either an old t-shirt cut into a rag size or an old sock. They work the BEST & they are washable if you like Chat Icon

I use washcloths - I don't use them in the shower so I have a bunch of them and I just use them dry.

i use those microfiber cloths ( you can get them at BBB, or anywhere really)... they pick up the dust pretty well, AND you can wash them when you're done Chat Icon

I love it since i put it over my hand - spray pledge and then can get into the nooks and cranies with my fingers.

I especially hate swiffers b/c you throw them out creating unnecessary garbage.

a sock, old tshirt works fine.

I also have these which I love and you can WASH them...no waste.

they also have a broom version. I LOVE them.

Re: DUSTING-what do you use if you DON"T swiffer?

one swiffer duster lasts us at least a month, since there aren't many surfaces for us to dust... the remaining tables / items are glass or metal, and get spritzed with method glass cleaner and wiped clean.

I have those same dusters shown above.
They wash amazingly well & look new each time I take them out of the dryer.

I got them at Big Lots.
