I would like to get a dutch oven. I am wondering if there are any brands, other then Le Creuset, that are just as good but less expensive.

Please recommend yours if you love it!

Thanks

Walmart has some for a good price but I can't decide if I want to go cheap or check the Le Creuset outlet we have out here.

Sometimes you can find them at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. Sur La Table has them on sale too. I"m wondering if the Kitchenaide or Rachel Rays ones are comparable.

I only have the round and I'm happy with it.

There's a difference between Le Creuset and other brands. People who own them, own them for life and they are guaranteed for that too. As a matter of fact, I just bought another today. I would recommend holding out for a better one rather than a cheaper one. Staub is probably the only other brand I would consider buying.

I have one that I got from Kohls - I think it's the FoodNetwork one that Paula Deen sells - I love it and it was much cheaper than the Lecruset I really wanted but couldn't bring myself to spend on a pot. Now....if it had been a Coach bag.... LOL
