The fact that Erin Andrews is now the co-host will be the reason why I will NOT watch this.
I cannot stand her voice.

Actually, it might be a disadvantage. They have spent decades learning how to ice dance, but the Rhumba/Samba/Paso/etc is unlike anything they've trained for, so they have to un-learn many of their muscle memory moves before they learn new stuff.
Also, the judges will expect perfection from them, so if they aren't perfect, they'll lose points that other contestants wouldn't. They also probably have less room for improvement, which is a factor in judging later in the season.
