ear infection without fever?
is this possible? Roman hasn't had a fever in two days but still screams when I lay him down and tugs at his left ear. Do you think he has an infection, or is this still the coxsackie blisters affecting him. He won't let me look in his throat. I'm going to call the office now. This kid is miserable and making mama miserable!

Gianna has been puling at her ear like crazy and she had a check-up last week and the dr said it was from her teething.. Feel better Roman...

Yep-
I brought Ryan to the Dr 2 weeks ago- because his sleeping was out of whack, and he was pulling on his ear.... and sure enough... Ear Infection!
He never had a fever once-
Im like that- since I was little- when I get sick I never get a fever...

I don't know about others, but my daughter never really tugged at her ear... the reason I brought her to the Dr was because she was SUPER cranky, not sleeping well, runny nose and a discharge from her eyes.

If anything- he is more likely to tug at night- because when he lays flat all the fluid would bother his ears...

Absolutely! I brought my youngest daughter to the doctor for a well check and to get the shots that were due, and was told she had a double ear infection. She didn't have one symptom to indicate that she wasn't feeling well.

I have an ear infection right noW. I didn't have a fever when it started, and it hurts a lot more when I lay down. That might be why he only cries when he lays down, you can feel the pressure more when laying down. Hope he feels better soon!
