Re: Ear infections
DD had 6 ear infections before her first birthday. Antibiotics took 7 to 10 days to totally "clear them up", but they always came back. She got tubes a week after her first birthday, and she has only had one ear infection since. (She is 18 months now.) The ENT told us that babies who get several ear infections before their first birthdays almost always need tubes. Why put her through more pain rather than just doing it? We got a second opinion, who totally agreed. I am not suggesting tubes for you, but you should be aware that they use them in very young children. If your daughter continues to get infections, I would suggest taking her to an ENT. Good luck! My heart goes out to both of you-ear infections HURT!!!!
