Ear Popping
My DH flew home from Denver yesterday afternoon and one of his ears never popped from the flight. He is in agony. He has tried the yawning, the holding nose and blowing...
Does anyone have any other suggestions? He is ready to go to the doctor tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do for him.

what about an anti-histimene like claritin?

Nasal spray - Afrin
Also, take a decongestant like Sudafed.
After those have kicked in, the Vasalva method should work (squeezing the nostrils and blowing -VERY gently). Not too much though, that method can cause inflammayion as well.
If there's a chance he has a sinus infection, he should probably go to the doctor, but if it's due to congestion from allergies or a cold, the above mentioned remedies will work.
