Ear Tubes????

My ds (19 months) is going in for ear tubes tomorrow morning. Just wondering if anyone elses dc has gone through this, if so any advice that is given is appreciated. TIA.

Ryan got tubes at 11 months and it was THE BEST solution for his recurrent ear infections/constant antibiotics. He has had numerous colds since then, but not ONE ear infection!
The procedure is a little scary when they tell you the possible risks of anasthesia, but honestly it was 15 minutes from the time we left him in the operating room to the time we saw him coming out of anasthesia. That was hard, they cry while they're waking up bc it's a scary feeling (and they cant' eat anythign that morning so they're hungry!) but another 10-15 min they go right to sleep and wake up a few hours later fine. Good luck! Very common procedure
